Live Film, our genre
Live film is a performing art that blends the presence of theater with the visual world of filmmaking. It is a live shoot taking place in front of an audience, resulting in a work that can be presented as a standalone film. Its goal is to provide a novel, never-before-seen experience by crossing genre boundaries.

DZSANNI50, 5EP,
MINOR Ice Age
At the invitation of the Katona József Theatre, we presented our jubilee production, DZSANNI50, as a special edition. Meanwhile, we are preparing for new performances: first, we are bringing János Térey’s Minor Ice Age, to the Studio K stage.

Beyond Fukuyama
We met Thomas Köck during the presentation of GIANNI. We returned at the invitation of the Trafó House of Contemporary Arts for the world premiere of his play, which we staged using our now fully-realized live-film techniques and visual world.

For two years, we worked in Stuttgart as part of the Renaissance Workshop program at the invitation of László Bagossy. Involving German actors from Theater tri-bühne, we created GIANNI, a production through which we elevated our live cinema technique to a new level.

Budapesti Skizo
During the pandemic, we were confronted with a lack of engaging, high-quality online theater. In response, we staged Attila Hazai’s novel Budapesti Skizo in our apartment theater in Budapest, rehearsing with the camera from day one and designing the production specifically for live film.
