ABOUT THE PLAY
Based on Anthony Burgess’s novel, A Clockwork Orange is conceived as a live film and audiovisual coming-of-age story. It follows Alex through three stations: from unrestrained violence, through a state-enforced process of re-education, to his return to society. A Clockwork Orange is a story of crime, punishment and forgiveness in a world that is not as futuristic as it seems. The production is created by Katona József Theatre’s company, directed by Dániel Máté Sándor in collaboration with the BpSkizo collective.
